Wesley C. Otken, CCIM Vice President I originate and underwrite commercial properties: mortgage loans, mezzanine, equity, and financial structured placements on industrial, multi-family, office, and retail properties for major insurance companies, Freddie Mac, FNMA, REITs, Banks and Wall Street firms. Underwritten over 175 industrial, 225 multi-family, 150 office, and 150 retail properties nationwide. I joined NorthMarq Capital in 1995 and was previously employed as a commercial appraiser in Dallas and Houston. I am a graduate of Texas A & M University with a BBA in Finance and a Master's degree in Land Economics and Real Estate. I served on the CCIM Board (NTCCIM Chapter) as the 2008 NTCCIM President and previously served on the REFEA and NTCAR Boards. I also serve as Major in the U.S. Army. I served as an Assistant Operations Officer in Iraq 2008-2009 and served on active duty in Bosnia-Herzegovina in 2000.
